Don’t Give Up Before You Even Start!

Starting an online business is not easy. Don’t expect to get rich overnight. Don’t expect to see sales or money coming in right away. It can take awhile.

I came across a lady in a group I’m in. It was her last post. She was throwing in the towel. Giving up on her new business. After making a sale and having some struggles along the way. Guess how long she had been at it a year, two years, 6 months? Nope 30 days. Yes just 30 days and she was quitting. Good Lord!

With that kind of attitude she isn’t going to succeed online or offline. Which brings me to some other things to keep in mind. Make sure you enjoy the subject you are focusing on for your business if picking a niche business. If you are going to do coaching make sure you enjoy working with others and can bring value. If you are failing in your own life or business how can you help others? You can’t!

Take a look at some of the ways to make money online. Pick one and give it a fair shot at working. One month is not going to do it.

Do you want to promote other people’s products? That would be affiliate marketing or referral marketing. There is a lower barrier to entry but don’t promote junk. Make sure you are picking quality products. It is best to build a list so you can build a real business down the road.

Do you want to create your own product? What do you already have knowledge in? People started out way back when and built successful products on stuff like teaching others how to play the guitar. How to win at the dating game. How to get your wife back. And on and on it goes. Now with Ai you can take some shortcuts to help you get a rough draft or outline done. Make sure you are still putting in work and not producing junk. Give people real value.

Do you enjoy doing art or design? The print on demand aka pod  or printables may be for you. POD is not as easy as they make it out to be and can take work. The good news is you won’t have to have a garage full of junk like selling physical products. The bad news is the margains are lower and the competition can be tough. However there are many people doing very well with it. As for printables you are just selling a digital download. So there is nothing to ship and no extra costs and if someone is unhappy just refund  them and move on. You won’t be out shipping costs or product costs.

I will go into all of these in more detail later on. This is just something to think about along the way. Hoping you find what makes you happy and brings you success.
